ACCOMMODATION:

For those golfers and their guests wishing to stay overnight on either Thursday 14th or Friday 15th September, the hotel have kindly offered us special rates as follows:

SINGLE ROOM £55.00 per night (including full English breakfast)
DOUBLE or TWIN ROOM £75.00 per night (including full English breakfast)

The hotel will not take “special rate” bookings direct so if you require a room please fill in the accommodation requirements and names on your golf confirmation and return to organiser. Bookings can only be made through the Organiser so please contact Angela Hyde on 01733 244 273 or email requirements to angela@angelahyde.com.

Car Parking:

NB Parking at the hotel is FREE but to exit the car park you will need a code unless the bar is up. I am pleased to confirm that if the bar is NOT up, Code for exiting the car park for this event will be 1946#.

THURSDAY, 14th September

Supper & Entertainment

In line with the theme of the event this year, you will be able to enjoy a relaxed “pub” style evening in the Buckingham Bar and Burghley Rooms with a Quiz. We are delighted that two of ITV’s “Chasers” from “The Chase” will be chairing a panel of other special guests and you will also have the opportunity of joining them – at a price of course!

Supper will be served from 6.30pm until last orders at 8.30pm and the celebrity quiz will start at 9.00pm.

The cost of supper is £8 per person payable to hotel on the night – please complete your supper attendance form and return to Organiser so hotel has an idea of catering numbers.

Entry to quiz is £5 per person which can either be paid when returning your confirmation, or on the night itself. Should be a great night of fun!

FRIDAY 15th SEPTEMBER:

GALA DINNER

The Champagne Reception will start at 6.15pm in the Foyer Bar (this is adjacent to the Buckingham where dinner will be served) and the call in to dinner WILL BE PROMPT AT 7.00pm. Please ensure you go straight into the Buckingham room when dinner is announced – Table plans will be available to view in the bar and at the dinner “Help” desk so please look at these when you arrive.

All timings, hotel address and the dress code are shown on your tickets - the Dress code for the evening is “Black Tie”.

The Dinner “Help” desk will be open from 6.15pm at the hotel.

The four course Gala dinner will be held in the Buckingham Suite at the Holiday Inn West (address as above)

If you have vegetarians or guests with dietary requirements ie diabetic, gluten free, mushroom or nut allergy etc, then please ensure you have informed the Organiser on your return confirmation form so the hotel can be made aware.

SECURITY & TICKETS

Tickets are required for ENTRY to this event.

Please ensure you have written all guest names on tickets before arriving as tickets will be requested on arrival at hotel.

Security will be in attendance.

If your tickets have not been sent to you in the post, they will be available for pick-up either at the golf registration or dinner “Help” desk at the hotel. PLEASE DO NOT FORGET TO BRING YOUR TICKETS TO THE GALA DINNER!

THE NEXT BEST THING:

Opens at 6.15pm and will close when called in to dinner. You Pay £10 and win a prize! Everyone is a winner!

These prizes have kindly been donated by Next Plc and are all valued at more than £10. Don’t miss out!

Dinner Information:

During the dinner there will be an envelope draw which will be £20 to enter – you can enter as many times as you like. The envelopes will be on your table so if you want to enter with chance to win amazing prizes please complete the entry on envelope with your name and table number and enclose the £20. You will need to complete this early evening and draw will take place on the night.

Throughout the dinner there will be some surprises on the night as well as a Charity Live Auction, Guest Speaker, Golf Presentations and Entertainment. Some of these may take place during courses.

There will be an after dinner Casino with four tables until main bar closes at 2.30am. Thereafter residents bar will operate in main bar of hotel.

OTHER INFORMATION

SHUTTLE BLUS

There is a free shuttle bus running from the hotel to golf course and back. Details sent with your confirmation. Please book in advance on your form and return to Organiser. If shuttle is full it will leave and come straight back for additional passengers. Please allow those golfers with earlier tee times to board bus first.

ENTERTAINMENT:

CASINO

Our Casino will open immediately after the dinner finishes until 2.30am for you to win some great prizes.

Casino money ($100 equals £10) will be on sale during drinks reception, Dinner and during casino opening times.

You will also have the opportunity after dinner to try and “Beat a Chaser” or “Whisk an Egghead” for a great prize!

BAR

The Bar will be open from 6.00pm and will close at 2.30am and thereafter a resident’s bar only.

“Bacon Butties” will be available at £3.50 to order and pay for at the bar from 1.00am to 2.30am.

SILENT AUCTION

We are delighted that once again, Carita Services, will be running their excellent silent auction on the day and night. This was very successful for the charity last year so we are pleased to welcome them back. We hope you enjoy spending your money on something you want whilst helping to stop disease and disability in children. Silent auction booklets will be available at the golf course and during the dinner. Silent Auction will close during the dinner so get those bids in early!

WINE

Wine is NOT included in your entry/ticket price. You may wish to save time on the night by pre-ordering and paying for your Wine in advance. If so, please complete the wine form sent with your confirmation of entry and email as per instructed direct to hotel or contact the Conference Team at the hotel on direct line 01733 289933 to order and pay by credit/debit card.

RAFFLE TICKETS

Tickets can be purchased at the hotel during the Champagne Reception and Gala dinner at £5 a strip.

Cancellation:

Should you withdraw your team within four weeks of the event and in the unlikely event that the course is unplayable on the day, please note that no monies will be refunded but the Gala dinner will still take place in the evening.
